My love and true passions are God, family and hunting. I have loved hunting for as long as I can remember. I bought my first BB gun when I was 10 by shoveling out driveways. That started my Obsession for hunting. Soon my gun hunting wasn't enough. While shoveling out driveways for 50 cents, I stumbled into a garage that had a recurve bow. I bought it. As soon as I picked it up, I knew bow hunting was what I wanted to do. I wasn't fortunate enough to have a mentor in bow hunting... so I adopted Fred Bear. In 1971, I bought my first Bear Bow from Fred Bear in Grayling, Michigan. I have been hooked on bow hunting ever since. I have had the opportunity to travel this world and hunt some amazing animals and meet some great friends along the way. I have also been able to bring my artistic talent and hunting together in the form of taxidermy. Racks and Tracks TV has given my wife Denise and I the opportunity to share our travels and adventures with all of you. I thank God every day for all the opportunities he has blessed me with. I will always remain a humbled man.

My Dad placed a bow in my hand at the age of 5 and I immediately fell in love with shooting. I have a daughter and a son following behind me with the same passion. I was raised in a hunting family where I learned that being in the outdoors is my favorite place to be. Most of the time, it's on the back of a horse. I was told at a young age that many things in life will catch your eye but few will catch your heart. Pursue those. So I did. I'm happy to be a part of the Racks and Tracks team.

First and foremost, I would like to thank almighty God for the creatures he created and for the opportunity and privilege he has provided me to take the animals I've taken so far. I was introduced to hunting by both of my parents at an early age. Hunting is truly an obsession for me; just ask my wife and kids. My uncle got me involved with competitive archery when I was 10 and my passion for archery skyrocketed from there. There is no better comfort for me than to be in the woods relaxing and enjoying all that nature has to offer. I want to thank the rest of the crew for the opportunity to share my adventures with you. God bless you all, especially my family for putting up with all of it.

Growing up I've been very fortunate to have many influencing people guide and shape me. In my teens one of by biggest passions, next to my faith, became hunting and the outdoors. From the age of 3 I've had a bow in my hand, but around 11-12 years old it really took hold of me. Starting with archery, it then morphed into pretty much anything to do with nature and hunting. Now, my passion has continued to grow and expand into ministries and volunteering with kids and the outdoors in as many ways as I can. I'm very thankful the Lord has blessed me with all these opportunities at such a young age and given me the ability to give back in as many ways as I can.

I live in Northern Kentucky along the hills of the Ohio River valley region. I harvested my first deer by gun during the 2010 youth gun season which was a young buck with 8 inch velvet spikes. 30 minutes later I also harvest a doe. From that point on I have been completely consumed by hunting of all kinds. The following year in 2011 I harvest my first deer with my bow. I have also traveled to Alabama with my dad and harvested a nice buck and my first wild hog. Hunting is a passion that I share with my dad. We eat, sleep, and breathe hunting year round.
